THE FOOD:

Each week the group has a well balanced meal or snack, demonstrating the "Joy of Weight Loss Eating Plan." There are no forbidden foods, only moderation and balance. That week, the group had "salmon and vegetable kabobs," cheese tidbits, bread, and baked acorn squash, with large amounts of non-sweetened, flavored seltzer (club soda) water.

ACTIVITY:

They don't do boring or exhausting exercise in the "Joy of Weight Loss Activity Plan." Instead they move and have fun! Today they stretched, danced, and tried a few simple martial arts/boxing postures for ten minutes.

MEDITATION:

We always sit in silence together to quiet down, feel grateful for what we have, pray in our own way or just focus and release tension.
